Bastarache Auto Salvage began their operation from their house in 1965. A few years later they built a garage and began filling their 60 acre lot with damaged vehicles. Due to increasing technology, they expanded to a a new computerized facility in 1994 and subsequently, as one on the largest aftermarket parts distributor in eastern Canada, expanded again by adding a 9,000 square-foot warehouse in 1998.
