Shediac Lobster Festival, Shediac, New Brunswick

Shediac - the lobster capital of the world - stages the Shediac Lobster Festival each year in early July.  The festival is world renowned and began, in Shediac, in 1950! 

2010 Lobster Festival is July 7th - July 11th

Join in for outdoor, family entertainment nightly, featuring magicians, well known local artists, national and international entertainers.  Cold Lobster Plates - with all the trimmings - served in the Giant Lobster Trap tent every day during the festival.  Lobster Eating Contest - every night volunteers are chosen from the crowd to eat 3 Lobsters with their bare hands in the least time possible.  Then there's the Kids Parade in the streets of Shediac and the Giant Midway on the Festival Grounds.

You are invited to an unforgettable experience - be sure to visit the festival and all of the summer attractions that the beautiful area of Shediac offers.
